It's not really productive to do your prayers and then forget about the whole thing. You must visualize regularly and often. Create your rune talisman and use it to remind yourself to visualize whenever you can.
The following is excerpted from Miracle Worker.
Visualization is like your homework that you carry around with you everywhere. Think of this homework as a test, a test of whether you really badly want your desire. If you are not prepared to spend a lot of time daydreaming about your desire, then just maybe it is not all that important to you. Create a rune talisman (as described later) and use it as you would a string tied around your finger, as a reminder to meditate when possible. It need not be a long visualization session, short ones add up and are often even better reinforcers. At work, or elsewhere, write down the runes so that they are prominently in view to you and so a good continuous reminder. Runes are like a secret code; if someone else asks what all those lines are, just say you were doing some doodling.
If you have real trouble visualizing or daydreaming you can use substitutes for these activities. Actual pictures or other accouterments that represent your dream will help keep your goal in mind. These are not as convenient to carry as ethereal visualizations or even small talisman reminders but will nevertheless serve their purpose. Another problem; if the desired result is not a major long term project, it might also be onerous and out of proportion to the result to assemble such substitutes, but this is a value judgment that you must make.
While substitutes are not efficient replacements for visualization, don't discard them just because you can visualize and daydream without them. If available, pictures and other things can be used as an extra aid to creating more effective and detailed visualizations by having them around and visible. The idea is to use anything that will be help to you.
A rune talisman is any small item such as small piece of wood, an identification bracelet or anything else that is convenient to carry and can have a few runes written, painted or otherwise marked on it. Even a piece of paper placed in a spot that will be often accessed will work fine. A piece of paper may not be very durable but it is easy to replace. Mark about three to five runes picked for their appropriate meanings as given in RnR Runes and Remedies and reproduced in the here as Forge Your Own Rune Talisman in pdf format. Don't worry if later you don't remember what the runes stand for. As long as this unique talisman is reminding you of your desired wish, it is doing its duty. A rune talisman is not just a memory aid. If the talisman is used regularly to set you off visualizing, it becomes a conditioner that helps put your mind in a visualization mode whenever it is looked at. There is also a mandala effect to runes to help evoke images of your desired results. As a good luck talisman is the traditional way that Vikings used runes and is a nice poetic touch in creating a visualization aid.
